What We Know So Far About Pon no Michi
Pon no Michi is an original anime, which means that it is not based on any existing source material, such as a manga, a light novel, or a game. This gives the creators more freedom and flexibility to craft their own story and characters, without being constrained by the limitations or expectations of the original work. However, this also means that there is less information available for the fans to speculate and anticipate what will happen in the anime.
So far, the only official sources of information about Pon no Michi are the official website, the official Twitter account, and the teaser visual and promotional video that was released in May 2023. The teaser visual shows the four main girls standing in front of the parlor, with a sign that says “Pon no Michi”. The teaser video introduces the main cast and staff and gives a glimpse of the setting and the animation style of the anime. The video also features a catchy song that is presumably the opening theme of the anime, although the title and the artist have not been revealed yet.

Based on the teaser visual and video, we can infer some basic facts and assumptions about Pon no Michi. For example, we can assume that the anime will be a slice-of-life comedy that focuses on the daily lives and adventures of Nashiko and her friends, as they try to revive the parlor and have fun together. We can also assume that the anime will have a nostalgic vibe, as it is set in Onomichi City, a historical and scenic town that is famous for its temples, shrines, and slopes. We can also assume that the anime will have some elements of fantasy and mystery, as it involves a boy from another world who can manipulate time.
However, these are just speculations, and there is still a lot that we don’t know about Pon no Michi. For example, we don’t know what the plot and the theme of the anime will be, what kind of conflicts and challenges the characters will face, what kind of relationships and dynamics they will have, what kind of secrets and surprises they will discover, and what kind of messages and lessons they will learn. We also don’t know what role Nagi will play in the story, what his motives and goals are, what his connection to Nashiko and her friends is, and what kind of impact he will have on their lives.
