Seraph of the End Season 3 Release Date, Spoilers, Trailer, Cast, Where to Watch & More

Seraph of the End Season 3:- Seraph of the End is a popular dark fantasy anime series based on the manga of the same name by Takaya Kagami, Yamato Yamamoto, and Daisuke Furuya. The anime adaptation, produced by Wit Studio, aired in two parts in 2015, covering the first eight volumes of the manga.
The series follows Yuichiro Hyakuya, a young boy who joins the Japanese Imperial Demon Army to fight against the vampires who have enslaved humanity after a mysterious virus wiped out most of the adult population. Along the way, he discovers the truth about his past, his family, and his destiny as the “Seraph of the End”.
The anime received positive reviews from critics and fans alike, praising its animation, music, voice acting, and story. The series also spawned several spin-offs, such as light novels, video games, and a stage play. However, since the second part of the anime ended in December 2015, fans have been eagerly waiting for the announcement of a third season.
Release Date of Seraph of the End Season 3
As of now, there is no official confirmation or announcement regarding Seraph of the End Season 3. However, that does not mean that the series is canceled or abandoned. In fact, there are several reasons to be optimistic about the possibility of a third season. Here are some of them:
- The manga is still ongoing and has enough material for another season. The manga currently has 24 volumes, with the latest one released in December 2020. The anime covered the first eight volumes, which means there are 16 more volumes left to be adapted. Assuming that the third season would follow the same pace as the previous ones, it could cover another four volumes, leaving 12 more for future seasons.
- The manga is still popular and sells well. According to Oricon, the manga ranked 15th in the top-selling manga series of 2020, with over 2.6 million copies sold. The manga also has a loyal fan base, both in Japan and overseas, who support the series through various media and merchandise.
Based on these factors, we can estimate that Seraph of the End Season 3 is likely to happen, but not anytime soon. The studio and the staff are probably busy with other projects, and may need some time to prepare and produce the next season. Therefore, a realistic and optimistic release date for Seraph of the End Season 3 would be sometime in 2025 or 2026.

Season 1 Quick Recap
The first season of Seraph of the End covers the first 10 volumes of the manga, and follows the main events of the story as follows:
Eight years ago, a virus killed 90% of the human population over the age of 13, and vampires emerged from the underground to enslave the remaining children. Yuichiro and Mikaela, along with other orphans from the Hyakuya Orphanage, were taken to the vampire city of Sanguinem, where they were treated as livestock and had their blood harvested.
Yuichiro and Mikaela planned to escape from the vampires with the help of a map and a gun given by a vampire named Ferid Bathory. However, it was a trap, and Ferid killed all the orphans except for Yuichiro and Mikaela. Mikaela sacrificed himself to let Yuichiro escape, and was turned into a vampire by Krul Tepes.
Yuichiro was rescued by Guren Ichinose, the leader of the Moon Demon Company, a unit of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, the human resistance force against the vampires. Yuichiro swore to avenge his family and kill all the vampires.

Yuichiro was placed under the supervision of Shinoa Hiragi, a lieutenant of the Moon Demon Company and the wielder of a cursed weapon called Shikama Doji. She was ordered to make Yuichiro join the army and become a member of her squad. Yuichiro also befriended Yoichi Saotome, a gentle boy who lost his sister to the virus, and Shiho Kimizuki, a sarcastic boy who cared for his sister Mirai, who was the host of a seraph experiment.
Yuichiro, Yoichi, and Kimizuki underwent a training program to obtain their own cursed weapons, which were swords that contained the power of demons. They had to make a contract with the demons inside the swords, which required them to overcome their inner fears and desires. Yuichiro contracted with Asuramaru, a powerful demon who was once a human boy. Yoichi contracted with Gekkoin, a demon who resembled his sister. Kimizuki contracted with Kiseki-o, a demon who promised to heal his sister.
Shinoa’s squad was completed with the addition of Mitsuba Sangu, a tsundere girl who came from a prestigious family of vampire hunters, and the wielder of Tenjiryu. The squad was assigned to their first mission, which was to clear a vampire lair in Harajuku. There, they encountered a vampire noble named Lucal Wesker, who was killed by Yuichiro with the help of his squad and Guren’s squad.
