In 2020, he secured a move to Enyimba, one of the most successful and popular clubs in Nigeria. He signed a three-year contract with the club and was expected to compete with the veteran goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai for the starting spot. However, he did not get many opportunities to play for Enyimba, as he was often sidelined by injuries and the COVID-19 pandemic. He only made a handful of appearances for the club in the league and the CAF Confederation Cup.
In 2021, Stanley Nwabili decided to leave Enyimba and join Lobi Stars, another Nigerian club that plays in the first division. He hoped to get more playing time and exposure at his new club, but he soon realized that he was not happy there. He felt that he was not getting the respect and support that he deserved from the club management and the fans. He also faced stiff competition from the other goalkeepers at the club, such as John Lawrence and Ospino Egbe.

In 2022, he made a bold move and left Nigeria to join Chippa United, a South African club that plays in the Premier Soccer League (PSL). He signed a two-year contract with the club and became the first Nigerian goalkeeper to play in the PSL. He made his debut for the club in a league match against Orlando Pirates and impressed everyone with his performance. He made several saves and denied the Pirates from scoring. He also earned the Man of the Match award for his display. He has since become the undisputed number-one goalkeeper for Chippa United and has helped them climb up the table and avoid relegation.
