Recap of Previous Season 1

However, he wakes up in a hospital, where he meets Death, a mysterious woman who tells him that he has to play a game with her. She explains that he has to survive 13 different lives that are doomed to die, or face eternal punishment.
She also tells him that he can use a special watch to communicate with her, and that he can see the remaining time of each life on the watch. She then sends him to his first life, that of a firefighter named Lee Jin-Woo, who is about to enter a burning building to rescue a child. Choi Yi-Jae manages to save the child, but gets trapped inside the building. He tries to escape, but the building collapses on him. He then wakes up in his second life.
Choi Yi-Jae finds himself in the body of a doctor named Park Ji-Hye, who is performing a surgery on a patient. He realizes that he has no medical knowledge or skills, and panics.
