Farzi (2023) Storyline & Plot
According to Wikipedia, the story of this series shows the story of a disillusioned artist named Sunny (played by Shahid Kapoor). After failing to keep his grandfather’s revolutionary printing press in business, Sunny, an artist, is disillusioned by India’s income disparity in Farzi. He decides to work together with Firoz, his best friend, to create fake money. Mansoor, a gangster, and Michael, a policeman, challenge them. There are 8 episodes in the first season of this series.
The names of all episodes are Artist, Social Service, CCFART, Dhanrakshak, Second Oldest Profession, Cat and Mouse, Supernote, and Crash and Burn. The first episode shows Sunny as a poor artist. He and his best friend Firoz help his grandfather run an idealistic printing press. When a company is in danger of going bankrupt, problems arise. Sunny and Firoz make the decision, disillusioned, to print counterfeit currency.
Their second attempt succeeds after their first attempt failed. In the meantime, Mansoor Dalal, the kingpin of counterfeiting, is captured in Nepal by a determined officer named Michael. But Mansoor gets away. Mansoor later abducts Sunny and Firoz. Watch the full series to know what happened next. The songs “Paisa Hai Toh” and “Sab Farzi” were their creations. “Aasmaan” is the third song written by Tanishk Bagchi. On January 28, 2023, Sony Music India released a soundtrack album with these three songs. The trailer of this series crossed over 35 million views in just 4 weeks. The IMDb rating of this series is 8.7/10.
