What is the plot of Good Grief

Plot

Good Grief follows Marc, a gay man who loses his husband Oliver in a car accident. Marc had been living a comfortable and complacent life with Oliver, a wealthy and charming older man who had swept him off his feet. Marc had also been avoiding the pain of his mother’s death, which had happened when he was young.

After Oliver’s funeral, Marc decides to go on a trip to Paris with his two best friends, Sophie and Thomas, who are also going through their own personal crises. Sophie is a successful fashion designer who is unhappy with her relationship with Terrance, a lawyer who doesn’t appreciate her. Thomas is a struggling writer who is stuck in a creative rut and has no direction in life.

In Paris, the three friends try to cope with their grief and find themselves in various situations that challenge their views on life, love, and friendship. Marc meets Theo, a handsome and mysterious Frenchman who sparks his interest. Sophie reconnects with her passion for fashion and confronts Terrence about their future. Thomas meets a young performance artist who inspires him to write again.

As the trip progresses, the friends also discover some secrets and lies that threaten to tear them apart. Marc learns that Oliver is not who he seems to be and that he has a dark past. Sophie finds out that Terrence has been cheating on her with another woman. Thomas realizes that he has feelings for Sophie and that he has been hiding them for years.

Will the friends be able to overcome their grief and mend their relationships? Will Marc find love again with Theo or will he be haunted by Oliver’s memory? Will Sophie dump Terrance and pursue her dreams or will she settle for less? Will Thomas confess his feelings to Sophie or will he lose her forever? Find out in Good Grief, a film that will make you laugh, cry and think.
