Plot & Storyline
Leo is an action thriller that revolves around the life of Parthi, a café owner and animal rescuer in Theog, Himachal Pradesh. Parthi lives a simple and happy life with his wife Sathya, son Siddhu, and daughter Chintu. He also has a close friendship with Joshy Andrews, a forest ranger, who often calls him for help in rescuing wild animals. One day, Parthi and Siddhu manage to tranquilize a spotted hyena that is threatening the townsfolk, and Parthi adopts the hyena as his pet.
One night, Parthi and Chintu are at the café when Shanmugam, a robber, and his men arrive to loot the place. Parthi tries to calm them down by giving them money, but one of them molests his employee Shruthi. Parthi loses his cool and fights back, killing all of them with his expert skills. Parthi is arrested for the murders but is released on self-defense grounds, as all the robbers were wanted criminals. However, his photograph appears in the newspapers all over the country, attracting unwanted attention.
Antony Das, a ruthless gangster based in Chennai, sees Parthi’s picture and recognizes him as his long-lost son, Leo. Antony had disowned Leo years ago for betraying him and joining a rival gang led by Harold Das, who is also Leo’s uncle. Antony had ordered Leo’s death, but Leo had escaped and gone into hiding. Antony decides to travel to Theog to meet Parthi and confirm his identity.
Parthi is shocked to see Antony at his café and denies being Leo. Antony tries to convince him by showing him his birthmark and telling him about his past. Parthi still refuses to accept Antony as his father and asks him to leave him alone. Antony gets angry and threatens to harm Parthi’s family if he does not come with him. Parthi stands up to Antony and tells him to stay away from him and his loved ones.
Antony decides to take Parthi by force and sends his men to kidnap him. Parthi fights them off but is injured in the process. He is taken to the hospital by Joshy, who reveals that he is actually a secret agent working for a covert organization called the Agency.
