What happened at the end of Season 1?

Let’s talk about the recently launched episode of Maestra named Sunflower. This is the fourth episode out of a total of 12 episodes. The episode starts with Se-Eum being a girl boss and congratulating Phil on finally realizing that he wants kids and serving him with divorce papers.

Phil asks A-jin to give him some space and she gets mad at him. Jeong- Jae is getting obsessed with Se- Eum and Han-gil snitches to Jae’s ex-wife Yoo-ra. We also get to see how toxic Se-Eum and her mother’s relationship is. Se-Eum’s father tries to persuade her to meet her mother while her mother feels she should have killed her daughter.

There is a moment of jealousy shown by A-jin when Se-Eum’s piece called Sunflower which was created in collaboration with Phil gets famous and the show is a success. After the concert, A-jin’s car gets in an accident with Se-Eum’s car which breaks Se-Eum’s arm and A-jin has only minor injuries.

Jeong-Jae picks a fight with Phil and blames him for Se-Eum’s condition. We later find out that See-Eum has a 50% chance of getting Remington’s disease and Jeong Jae knows about it.

A police investigation ensues to investigate the accident only to find out that A-jin’s brakes were cut and Se-Eum is investigated. The episode ends with a wonderful performance by Se-Eum and her getting confronted backstage by Jeong Jae about her disease.
