Plot
Marry My Husband is based on a web novel by Sung So Jak, which was also adapted into a webtoon. The drama revolves around Kang Ji Won, a 37-year-old woman who has a miserable life. She is the sole breadwinner of her family, while her husband, Park Min Hwan, is unemployed and in debt. She also has to deal with her demanding mother-in-law and her household chores. To make matters worse, she is diagnosed with terminal cancer and has only a few months to live.
One day, she catches her husband and her best friend, Jung Soo Min, having an affair. She confronts them and gets into a physical fight, resulting in her death at the hands of her husband. However, she suddenly wakes up in the past, 10 years earlier, when she was dating Min Hwan. She realizes that she has a second chance to live a different life and decides to make Soo Min marry Min Hwan instead of her. She also meets Yoo Ji Hyuk, a director at the company where she works, who has feelings for her and a secret of his own.
In the previous episode, Ji Won managed to set up Min Hwan and Soo Min on a blind date, hoping that they would fall in love and leave her alone. However, she also found out that Ji Hyuk was the son of her boss, Yoo Han Il, and that he had a crush on her since college. She also learned that Min Hwan’s mother was the reason why her father died in a car accident 10 years ago.
In episode 4, we can expect to see more complications and conflicts in Ji Won’s plan, as Min Hwan and Soo Min may not be as easy to manipulate as she thought. Ji Hyuk will also try to get closer to Ji Won and reveal his true identity and feelings to her. Meanwhile, Ji Won will face more challenges at work and at home, as she tries to balance her revenge and her new life.
