12 years ago a legal battle happened between an Indian woman named Sagarika Bhattacharya and the Norway government for the custody of her two kids. In 2011 without any legal consent, the Norway Child welfare service took away Mr. Anurup Bhattaracharya and Sagarika Bhattacharya’s Two kids and placed them in foster care raising lots of allegations against the couple.

Mr. and Mrs. Bhattacharya struggled a lot to get the custody back of their – three-year-old Avigyan and one-year-old daughter Aishwarya. The whole nation helped the couple in fighting this legal battle. At last Mr & Mrs. Bhattacharya won the battle. And now in the movie, the same story is picturized. Rani Mukherjee plays the role of Mrs. Sagarika Bhattacharya by the name of Mrs. Chatterjee.

Mrs. Sagarika will be seen bringing her kids back home after ending the allegation of having not enough room to play for kids, providing unsuitable clothes to kids, and no toys to play, sleeping on the same bed, and many others.
