Plotlines
As tensions between countries rise in the Indo-Pacific, a strong group of U.S. NCIS officers and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) are brought together to work as a single unit to stop maritime crimes in the world’s most controversial ocean area.
NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey and Sgt. lead this American and Australian team. Jim “J.D.” Dempsey: They need to quickly learn to trust each other and use their differences to help them solve each case.
Even though there are disagreements over who is responsible for what and clashes of cultures at the beginning, Mackey learns to respect J.D.’s ability to see through lies, and J.D. learns to appreciate her independent way of doing things.
At the same time, sassy AFP Constable Evie Cooper and always-curious Special Agent DeShawn Jackson became fast friends. Also, a grumpy forensic pathologist, Dr. Roy Penrose, meets his match in Bluebird “Blue” Gleeson, an intelligent young forensic scientist.
