P Valley Season 3 Release Date:- P-Valley is a hit drama series from Starz that follows the lives of the employees and patrons of a strip club called The Pynk in the Mississippi Delta. The show, created by Katori Hall, is based on her play Pussy Valley and features a diverse cast of characters who deal with issues such as poverty, racism, sexuality, and identity. P-Valley has received critical acclaim for its authentic portrayal of the Southern Black culture, its complex and flawed characters, and its stunning cinematography and music.
The second season of P-Valley ended with a bang in August 2023, leaving fans eager to know what will happen next in the third season. Here is everything you need to know about P-Valley Season 3, including the release date, cast, plot, trailer, and where to watch.
Is P Valley Season 3 Confirmed?
The good news is that P-Valley Season 3 has been confirmed by Starz in October 2022, just two months after the second season finale. The showrunner Katori Hall expressed her gratitude and excitement for the renewal in a statement:
“With its complex, dynamic, and beautifully flawed characters, this show is a love letter to marginalized communities in the American South who rarely see themselves reflected on screen, and it brings me immense joy to know that it has been embraced by folx worldwide. We wouldn’t be getting back up on that pony, without our fiercely devoted Pynk Posse. Y’all are our fire. And special thanks to the fuel: everyone who laid hands on this show. From the writers and producers to the cast to the crew to the executives, this show is made with great love, grit and glitter. It’s gonna take us a Mississippi minute before we’re back on your screens again, but best believe it’ll be well worth the wait.”
P Valley Season 3 Release Date
The bad news is that the release date of P-Valley Season 3 is still unknown as of January 2024. The production of the third season has been delayed due to the Writers Guild of America strike that lasted from May to December 2023. Hall announced the postponement on her social media account (formerly Twitter):
“Despite rumors, due to the WGA Writers Strike, filming on ‘P-Valley’ has been postponed. Like many of my fellow showrunners, I feel as though my writing & producing duties are inextricably linked. We will not be filming until a fair deal is reached.”
The strike has been resolved in January 2024, and the production of P-Valley Season 3 is expected to resume soon. However, it will take some time before the filming is completed and the editing is done. The previous seasons of P-Valley took about six months to film and another six months to post-produce. The first season premiered in July 2020 and the second season in June 2022.
If the third season follows a similar timeline, we can expect P-Valley Season 3 to premiere sometime in late 2024 or early 2025. Of course, this is just an estimation and may change depending on various factors. We will update this article as soon as we get more information from the official sources.

A Quick Recap of Season 2
Season 2 of P-Valley continued to follow the lives of the dancers and employees of the Pynk, as they dealt with personal and professional issues, such as domestic violence, family drama, sexual identity, money troubles, and more. The season also introduced new characters and conflicts, such as the casino development project that threatened to take over the land where the Pynk is located, and the money-laundering scheme that involved Autumn and Andre, a married lawyer who worked for the project.
The season finale, titled “Murda Night”, was full of twists and turns, as it wrapped up some of the major storylines and left some of them open for the next season. Here are some of the highlights of the episode:
Mercedes performed her final dance at the Pynk, after retiring from stripping and opening her own dance studio for young girls. She also reconciled with her mother, Patrice, who had stolen her savings and caused a riot at the club in the previous season.
Keyshawn won the crown of Miss Mississippi, after impressing the judges and the audience with her stunning performance. However, she also shot her abusive boyfriend, Mane, who attacked her and Diamond at the club. Diamond, who had developed feelings for Keyshawn, helped her escape and took her to a safe place.
Autumn left town with a lot of cash, after exposing Andre’s affair with her to his wife and the media. She also revealed that she was involved in a money-laundering scheme with him, and that he had betrayed his boss, Mayor Ruffin, who was behind the casino development project. Andre was arrested by the FBI, while his wife shot and killed Mayor Ruffin, who was also having an affair with her.
Uncle Clifford and Lil Murda confessed their love for each other, after Lil Murda performed his new song, “Fallin’”, which was dedicated to Uncle Clifford, at the Pynk. They also decided to reveal their relationship to their friends and loved ones, despite the risks and challenges they might face.
Uncle Clifford and Corbin, who had inherited a large portion of Mayor Ruffin’s land and wealth, teamed up with Autumn to stop the casino development project and save the Pynk. They also discovered that the land had a historical and cultural significance, as it was the site of a Native American burial ground.
