Recap of Previous Season 3
Quantico season 3 followed Alex Parrish and her team of FBI and CIA agents, who formed a covert joint task force to expose a syndicate of eight collaborators that were secretly involved in orchestrating the hostage crisis at the G-20 summit in New York. The collaborators were working for a mysterious group called the Collective, which aimed to destabilize the world order and create chaos.
The team managed to identify and stop most of the collaborators, such as the hacker Sasha Barinov, the media mogul Felix Pillay, the senator Alice Winter, the arms dealer The Widow, and the former CIA director Matthew Keyes. However, they also faced some losses and betrayals, such as the death of Dayana Mampasi, the defection of Léon Velez, and the revelation that President Claire Haas was also a collaborator.
The season finale revealed that the mastermind behind the Collective and the hostage crisis was none other than President Henry Roarke, who was Claire Haas’ vice president and former lover. Roarke planned to use the crisis as a pretext to declare martial law and suspend the Constitution, in order to implement his radical agenda and seize absolute power. He also had a personal vendetta against Alex Parrish, whom he blamed for the death of his son, who was a terrorist.
Alex and her team managed to infiltrate the White House and confront Roarke, who held Claire Haas hostage. Alex tried to reason with Roarke, but he refused to surrender and shot Claire in the chest. Alex then shot Roarke in the head, killing him. Claire survived the gunshot wound but decided to resign as president, due to the scandal and the guilt. She also disbanded the task force and asked Alex to leave the country.

Alex decided to take drastic action to expose Roarke’s conspiracy and clear her name. She hacked into the White House’s system and broadcasted a live video to the nation, in which she revealed Roarke’s plan and showed the evidence of his crimes. She also released all the classified intelligence that she had gathered to the public, hoping to spark a new era of transparency and accountability. However, by doing so, she also violated the law and became a wanted criminal. She then fled the country, with the help of Ryan, Shelby, Owen, Harry, Jocelyn, and Mike, who vowed to stand by her side.
