Recap of Episode 2
In case you need a refresher, here is what happened in the previous episode of Tracker. Colter was hired by the parents of Jackson Cheong, a young accountant who had joined a cult called Positive Light. Colter tracked down the cult’s leader, Rebecca Pendergast, who was using a fake name and identity. Colter infiltrated the cult’s compound and found Jackson, who was brainwashed and refused to leave. Colter also learned that Rebecca was planning to kill all her followers in a mass suicide.
Colter managed to convince Jackson to escape with him, but they were chased by Rebecca and her henchmen. Colter fought them off and rescued Jackson, who was reunited with his parents. Colter also exposed Rebecca’s true identity and her criminal record, which included fraud, theft, and murder. Colter handed her over to the authorities and collected his reward.
Meanwhile, Colter also received a phone call from his brother Russell, who told him that their mother’s house had been broken into. Colter visited his mother and found out that nothing was stolen, but he suspected that someone was trying to send him a message. Colter also received a letter from his other brother Ashton, who had disappeared years ago and was believed to be dead. The letter contained a clue to Ashton’s whereabouts and a request for Colter to find him.
