On March 13, 2021, a piece of big breaking news came in on the coal scam investigation in West Bengal. The CID has arrested a close aide of Prime accused Arup Majhi in Paschim Bardhaman district. This is the first arrest made by this criminal investigation department since it began probing.
Well, that’s a very big development taking place as far as this investigation is concerned. Also, a CID in the state of West Bengal, there was a demand of sending a proper investigation in this entire case and now are given to understand is that West Bengal’s CID has now arrested the former close aide which is Arup Majhi.
In fact, the accused members are next to be arrested including GE who was the builder. It’s a multi-crore coal scam in which of prime accused is Arup Majhi that is the first arrest which has been made by the State Criminal Department of investigation.
The department began its investigation a couple of days back. And now that’s the first arrest. It has been made by CID. Many other people are now on raider but the first arrest has now been made. We’ll have to see how the political parties are going to react to this.
