Ludhiana & Patiala are under Night Curfew From Today due increase in COVID-19 Cases in Punjab
On March 12, 2021, Taking note of increasing cases of covid 19 in the state of Punjab, two more districts have imposed the night curfew. Ludhiana and Patiala have announced a night curfew that will be imposed from the night 11 pm to 5 am. Those are the timings that have been fixed by the deputy commissioners of both these districts and even the six districts are under the night curfew in the state of Punjab.
Earlier Jalandhar, Nava Shahar, Hoshiarpur, and Kapurthala has already imposed the night curfew just because every day the number of cases is being increased in the state of Punjab.
In the last 24 hours, 1393 cases have been reported positive with 17 deaths in Punjab. The chief secretary of Punjab has already stated that the power has been given to the Deputy Commissioner to take their call to put the restrictions according to the increasing of cases. Now, the deputy commissioners have started taking the calls and started putting those restrictions in their districts.
