Farmers Protest: Sanyukt Kisan Morcha announced 12-Hour Bharat Bandh on 26 March 2021

Farmer Union Samyukt Kisan Morcha is observing a Bharat Bandh on 26 March 2021. The strike is in protest against the three contentious farm laws which were enacted recently. The farmers have appealed to people to make it a success. Now during the strike, all business establishments will be closed and no road and rail traffic will be allowed to fly. The farmer’s unions announced yesterday.
On March 28 during the Holi festival, copies of the farm laws will also be burnt by the farmers in Holika Dahan as per the reports. Now, this is the second nationwide strike announced by the farmers. The first month took place on December 8, which was witnessed in Delhi, in Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Assam.

It received support from several trade unions as well and various other organizations join the protest as well. 24 opposition parties including the Congress and the NCP also supported the Bharat Bandh at the time. Remember the farmer unions have held over 10 rounds of talks with the center to resolve the stalemate, but no result from those talks.
Thousands of protesting farmers from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and several other states have been staging or sitting alone on Delhi borders demanding the repeal of the farm laws and a legal guarantee that the MSP will continue. Bharat Bandh to be observed today. Various roads have been blocked various railway routes have also been blocked by the agitating farmers.
