Indian Finance Ministry Releases ₹8873.6 Crore SDRF Fund for the State

New Delhi, May 1, 2021 – The finance ministry has released the first installment of rupees 8,873.6 crores for the state disaster response fund in advance. Now, the finance ministry has also confirmed that up to 50% of the SDRF amount can be used by states for COVID-19 containment measures.
