Indian Air Force Will Step in To Carry Oxygen Containers & Related Equipment

Mumbai, 22 April 2021 – Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force is likely to step in and support the country’s fight to reduce the shortage of oxygen supply. The center is now exploring options to use the Indian Air Force to fly in oxygen containers and related equipment from abroad. Government sources claim that oxygen is available but transportation is a problem due to an acute deficiency of containers.

Ramping up infrastructure for supplying oxygen seems to be the government’s top focus now this bottleneck could be removed by sourcing containers from abroad. India’s air heroes are already on the front line to battle the pandemic. IAF transport jets have been airlifting essential medicines and types of equipment.
