Jammu Reports COVID Vaccine Shortage In Centres, Only 1-2 Centres Operational in J&K

Jammu, May 10, 2021 – Centers are running short of COVID-19 vaccines in the Union territory as well. sources are telling us that only one to two out of 15 vaccination centers are working in the city of Jammu and the shortage has been reported of COVID-19 vaccines in Jammu.

Well, that’s the newest we are getting from Jammu. Jammu and Kashmir of course had made some very important announcements today. One being getting MBBS students, which will now be roped in for COVID duty. The other thing is that no positive reports will now be required for suspect COVID patients to be admitted into suspect COVID wards.

Those are the two updates from this union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. But now we are also learning that there is a possible shortage of COVID-19 vaccines in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir especially in the city of Jammu.

The states and union territories of Jammu and Kashmir that is what we have learned here that there is a shortage of COVID vaccine, the process which was started a few days back by the Prime Minister himself to provide the vaccine shots to the age group of 18 to 45. And that activity is no more available here in Jammu & Kashmir only one to two centers in the Jammu region are providing vaccine shots to the people and the rest are close and only because of the shortage of vaccine.

People are coming and they are visiting the centers which have been designated for this COVID vaccination process that has been closed. So, it clearly shows that there is a shortage of vaccines and that’s why people are worried because almost daily, more than 5000 people are tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir more than 50 people are dying in Jammu and Kashmir.

So, it is a worrying situation because people want to take the vaccine as soon as possible so that their immune system, can be improved and, but if there is no vaccine available, there is no availability of vaccine. It is a matter of concern for the administration as well as for the people here.
