New Delhi – Navneet Kalra has got bail. Bail has been given to him on the condition that he does not contact customers. Black Marketer Navneet Kalra has got bail, so relief coming in for a businessman who has been accused of hoarding and black marketing oxygen concentrators during the pandemic. Navneet Kalra has got bail, he got paid yesterday, these are the latest updates now coming.
Releasing the amount of personal bond of rupees one lakh judge Arun Kumar said that Kalra would not contact anyone to whom he has sold the concentrator, the bail was granted to Kalra on conditions such as he will not be tampering with the evidence. You will not be influencing the witness and that he will join the investigation when required. The Delhi Police of course, on his part as opposed to the Bail plea and had sort of five-day police custody of Kalra.
I’m getting to know is that what Karla and his associates have done is that they tied up with a few manufacturers in China and they got in these substandard oxygen concentrators from China then flagged on labels, cap labels on them and then uses Khan Chacha restaurant as well as this town Hall restaurant in Khan market. And there are 10 other locations where they were oxygen concentrators that were hoarded.
And then these were being sold in the market for a very high intake price of anywhere between 35,000 to a lakh, while the actual size of the concentrators was anywhere between 8500 to over 9000 rupees.
So selling them for nearly 10 times the price and that’s exactly the case that was being made against him rather than Of course hoarding and also the fact that he was defrauding many people.
