Andrea Jeremiah portrays Mathi who is a brave and outspoken woman. A happy love story ensues after she gets married to Saran, played by Aadhav Kannadasan, a suitable groom. She is a manager at a sports store. A man and his male employer steal some store equipment one day. Mathi catches them in a clever way and tells the employer to quit because it would be better than firing him and labeling him a thief. He realizes what he did and begs Mathi for his job, but he doesn’t get it. Also, a young employee was being bullied by a local scumbag because they were lovers, but she now dislikes him.
Mathi tells the goon to back off and give the employee some space, but the goon still gets into trouble. He is humiliated by the customers’ threats. The female employee now feels confident enough to be able to marry outside of Kodaikanal. Mathi travels alone to Kodaikanal to take part in the wedding festivities.
