It is the remake of a famous Hindi film named ‘Andhadhun’ (2018). It is directed by a well-known director and cinematographer named Ravi K. Chandran. The film ‘Bhramam’ shows that Ray Mathews (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran) is a proficient pianist, who pretends to be blind so that he can focus on music only. He started loving a girl named Anna (played by Raashi Khanna).
Ray Mathews met Simi (played by Mamta Mohandas), who killed her husband, and Ray witnesses the murder. Simi found that Ray is not blind but pretended to be blind. She puts a chemical in his eyes and makes him blind. The rest of the film shows the survival fight between Simi and Ray. In the end, Simi was dead and Ray Mathews went to the foreign country and set up his own music concerts.
The suspense of the film is that at the end Ray Mathews gets back his sight. As per the sources, the film is produced by Aswathi Naduthodi. It is produced under the production companies A.P. International and Viacom18 Studios. The shooting of the film ‘Bhramam (2021)’ was started on 27 January 2021 and was completed in March 2021.

After the work of post-production, the film was released on 7 October 2021 (Thursday). In India, Bhramam (2021) is distributed by Amazon Prime Video and in other countries, it is released in theatres. The movie includes incredible songs. The titles of the songs are Lokam – Who Wants it and Munthiripoovo.
