According to the official Wikipedia page of actor Sudheer Babu, we found that ‘Hunt’ movie is the remake of the 2013 Malayalam film titled ‘Mumbai Police’. This film shows that an ACP named Arjun (played by Sudheer Babu) met with an accident which resulted in his partial memory loss. Before and during the accident, he was on the call with the Commissioner of Police and he told the Commissioner that he solved the murder case of his best friend.

After the accident Commissioner kept the information about his memory loss a secret and tells Arjun that he is a police officer with an impressive police record. The rest of the film is kept secret by the makers not to spoil the interest of people.
