It is directed by well-known director and cinematographer Laxman Utekar. His film ‘Luka Chuppi’ was one of the hit movies. ‘Mimi’ states the story of a girl from Rajasthan named Mimi Rathore (played by Kriti Sanon), who gets to be the surrogate mother for a foreign couple. Bhanupratap Pandey (played by Pankaj Tripathi) became the intermediate between the foreign couple and Mimi to make the deal.
The couple offers INR 20 Lakhs to Mimi to give birth to their baby. The twist came when a foreign couple denies taking the baby and asked her to abort her pregnancy a few months before delivery.
