Inside the movie, Kamal Hassan is playing the lead role of a R.A.W agent named Arun Kumar. The story connects you in 1984 when Ashraf Hussain, Francis Adaikalaraj, and RD Bohra get convicted for long 25 years. They are announced to jail for 25 years due to their illegal activities. Then after the very next day of their imprisonment a Missile named, Agniputra is dispatched to Satish Dhawan Space Centre. But during its dispatch, there is a risk that this missile will get stollen in the way by terrorists. Somehow officials get disconnected and become unable to track the actual location of the Missile.
Then a committee of ministers provides commander Arun Kumar with a mission to track the Missile with his team. Then someone from the political headquarter tells the terrorist that Vikram is provided the assignment to locate the missile. So terrorists decided to kill Vikram. When unknown people visit Arun’s home to kill him but accidentally his wife got killed and somehow he saves himself. And from here the real story began of capturing the terrorist and locating the missile.
