Ottawa – Canada has come up with an advisory for traveling to India for its citizens. This comes days after New Delhi cautioned Indians to have hate crimes in Canada. Now Ottawa has asked its citizens to avoid traveling to India citing security threats.
The advisory cautions Canadians against traveling to areas in the states of Gujarat, Punjab, and Rajasthan that share a border with Pakistan due to the presence of landmines and unpredictable security situations.
The North American country has further warned Canadians against traveling to Jammu and Kashmir and the northeastern states of Assam and Manipur citing the threat of terrorism.

But largely development came in the backdrop of the so-called Khalistani referendum in the country something that India had taken an exception for India was miffed over the development.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson called it a farcical exercise, and something he said the Canadian government should have taken steps to ensure that this kind of activity does not take place.
And we know that this relationship has seen a lot of negative vibes to use the word in terms of the presence of the Khalistani elements, who of course, are seen as crucial vote bank politics of Canada.
