Many in the opposition attack them saying that it is the Supreme Court-mandated audit, which has got the government of Delhi on the track, and today the BJP opened another front as far as the oxygen crisis is concerned.
And we have been seeing how the numbers in the National Capital have been coming down, continuously in the last few days, that’s a good thing. Today the chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said that, in Delhi, there is much more availability of oxygen beds. Now, there are COVID-19 total beds in Delhi there are 24,852 beds in Delhi occupied at 5:30 pm on the 14th of May. 17,608 for occupied, 7244 beds are vacant as for the government of Delhi app. Now, as far as the oxygen beds are concerned 5684 beds are vacant.
ICU beds seem to be a problem 244 although they are showing vacant, this is after the facility 500-bed facility, a forum, the GTV hospital has started functioning and 250-bed facility attach to NJP has also started functioning. Now, a massive war of words has taken place between the government of Delhi and the BJP where the BJP is quoting a survey report which has been made by the Central Ministry, which according to them, they say acutely points out to gross mismanagement of the oxygen as far as the government of Delhi is concerned.
