Delhi Reported Shortage of COVID Vaccine Again, Centre Vs State Continuous Amid Surge

New Delhi – The Aam Aadmi Party has said that the vaccination drive for the 18 to 44 years old age group can be stopped in the National Capitol due to the shortage of vaccines and the vaccines are available only for three days. In vaccination center out here in South Delhi, where people have come here to get themselves vaccinated.
And let me tell you that the state government has also decided to put in driving vaccination where people can come to any of the government-run schools along with the Aadhaar card or any verification proof to get themselves vaccinated.
It is because of the people who don’t have access to either internet or smartphones and are facing difficulties to get themselves registered in the COWIN Portal and Aarogya Setu App. And also, there’s a tussle going on between the center and the state government where the state government has said that the center should provide them more vaccination. Yesterday, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia quoted a letter from the center where the center said that no more vaccinations will be provided.
And in May, around 3,83,000 vaccines will be provided. And when it comes to the Covaxin stock, it is almost over where AAP party MLA Atishi has clearly said that the Covaxin in the state is just available for one day.
And clearly, the issues for the 45+ age category are also going to increase in the coming days if the vaccination shortage continues to be seen in the National Capital.
