‘Modi Govt Abdicated Responsibility’ Sonia Gandhi Slams Center over COVID Crisis

Delhi, May 10, 2021 – Sonia Gandhi has expressed concern about a possible third COVID wave and I said that the Modi government has abdicated its responsibility and left vaccination to the States. She’s also said, it would have been financially more equitable for the center to provide free vaccines to the country.
Today it was the Congress parties the working committee meeting which is the highest decision-making body of the Congress party. The meeting is on via videoconferencing and Congress party’s interim president Sonia Gandhi as it was.

She was talking in her opening remarks and she mentioned the current situation of pandemic COVID-19, as he clearly said, but the Modi government, she takes a potshot at Modi Government and targeted the central government by saying that the Modi government has abdicated its responsibility and the country is facing devastation during the COVID-19 second wave and the third wave is also being anticipated.
Sonia targeted the Modi government. This meeting was called to do some kind of assessment after the five states Assembly elections and the defeat of the Congress party and along with the issue of the ongoing COVID-19 situation. So this is the COVID party working committee meeting in which Sonia Gandhi made this opening remark.
