New Delhi– Big breaking news coming in, former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is likely to join the BJP in Delhi. Amarinder Singh is going to be joining the BJP on the 19th of September 2022 and is likely to merge his party Punjab Lok Congress with the Bharatiya Janta party.
Ever since he broke off with the Congress Party, there were speculations that this would happen and now it’s been confirmed. Finally what was speculated for a very long time is taking place.
Of course, you know, this was much awaited from Captain Amarinder Singh’s side and as well as from his supporter’s side because after separating from the Congress party, his supporters, the Punjab Lok Congress leaders were waiting for this particular decision of Captain Amarinder Singh.
What we are coming to know is that now it has been finalized with the Delhi people with the BJP senior leadership that Captain Amarinder Singh, himself and he’ll be merging his Punjab Lok Congress Party, which he formed after, the Congress party.

They forced him to resign as the chief minister just ahead of assembly post-2022. And now, in Punjab Lok Congress, we saw that the Cabinet members of Captain Amarinder Singh’s regime and also the senior leaders of Congress, who parted ways with the Congress party after the elections, have joined Punjab Lok Congress or instead the BJP now.
On the 19th of this particular September Captain Amarinder Singh, he’ll be joining the BJP. Also, he’ll be merging his party Punjab Lok Congress into BJP.
