Indian Govt Files Fresh Plea On WhatsApp Challenges New Privacy Policy

New Delhi – All right now exclusive breaking news coming in the center has filed fresh responses in a place challenging WhatsApp, new privacy policy. WhatsApp is indulging in anti-user activities by obtaining tricked consent is what the center is saying. The center is also saying that WhatsApp wants to transfer its entire user base to commit to the new policy before the implementation of the PDP bill.
And another allegation that is of course being made on WhatsApp by the center at this point is that WhatsApp of course is to transfer the entire existing user base committed to updating to 2021 privacy policy. So of course the center at this point is making some very serious allegations as far as WhatsApp is concerned and it has already filed fresh responses in place challenging Whatsapps new privacy policy.
The government today file an affidavit in Delhi High Court and inform the court that the instant messaging application WhatsApp is indulging in anti-user practice by obtaining trick content for users to update its privacy policy. The center further alley is that Whatsapp went ahead with this revised privacy policy and it does not comply with the Indian IT rules from social media platforms.
In a fresh affidavit filed before High Court, the center slammed WhatsApp for obtaining trick content for users for the updated privacy policy. Center government further says that the millions of Whatsapp users who haven’t accepted a new policy are bombarded with notifications every day.
The Center further submitted the current notification feed publish WhatsApp on a user exciting and new one is against the very gain of the opinion of the CCA March 24, 2020 Order. The Center asked the Delhi High Court to issue interim direction to WhatsApp to deceive from any action of push notification on to users related to update 2021 private policy and to place on the record number of times push notification are being pushed daily their conversion rate.
Till now, Whatsapp has not complied with the new policy of the central government that means the new IT rules 2021 of the central government. Regarding that, Whatsapp had already filed a petition before Delhi High Court which is still pending.
This is the response which is filed by the central government on the petition with the challenge the Whatsapp private policy which introduced three months back and now Center has filed a response we have to wait and see that how the warship is going to file their affidavit on the response which is filed by the central government.
