Internet Explorer Shut Down: Microsoft Officially Retires Internet Explorer Today

Washington:- Microsoft’s web browser Internet Explorer is now officially retiring after providing its services for 27 years on the 15th of June 2022. The web browser was launched in 1995 as part of the add-on package plus for Windows 95 that year.
Later on, Internet Explorer upgraded versions were available for free downloads in service packs and were included in the original equipment manufacturer OEM services. Service releases of Windows 95. And it was a part of our life since then.
Why did Microsoft Shut Down Internet Explorer?

Internet Explorer met its saturation point in 2003. With 25% of usage share, however, many other web browsers came into the picture, which led to the decline in the usage of Internet Explorer.
Sean Lindersay Microsoft Edge program manager said and I quote:-
The Future of the internet on Windows 10 is in Microsoft Edge.”

He explained further not only is Microsoft Edge a faster, more secure, and more modern browsing experience than Internet Explorer, but it is also able to address key concerns regarding compatibility for older legacy websites and applications.
However, the internet has bloomed with posts and Memes regarding retirement. Especially 90s Kids are now feeling extremely nostalgic about the statement made by Microsoft Edge program manager Sean Lindersay.
