Dr. Anthony Fauci Backed Covaxin, Says India’s Vaccine Neutralises ‘617’ COVID-19 Variant
Washinton DC, April 28, 2021– Joe Biden’s Chief Medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci has now backed India’s indigenous COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin. He says that the vaccine can not only neutralize the original variant that was found in India in the beginning, but also the 617 variant of the virus.
Dr. Anthony Fauci says – “This is something where we’re still gaining data on a daily basis. But the most prelit, the most recent data was looking at convalescent sera of COVID-19 cases and people who received the vaccine use in India, the Covaxin, and it was found to neutralize the 617 variant. So despite the real difficulty that we’re seeing in India, vaccination could be a very, very important antidote against this. So I’ll stop there with the final statement. The one thing you can gather from everything I’ve said that it’s very important to get vaccinated.”
