Domestic Career
Agni made his debut in domestic cricket for Mizoram in the 2023-24 season, after being picked by the state team in the player draft. He made an immediate impact, scoring a century and a half-century in his first two matches, against Chandigarh and Bihar respectively. He also took five wickets in the match against Bihar, showcasing his all-round abilities. He finished the season as the leading run-scorer and the second-highest wicket-taker for Mizoram, helping them qualify for the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy.

Agni also played for SoBo SuperSonics in the T20 Mumbai League, where he was the highest run-scorer and the player of the tournament. He scored 234 runs in seven matches, at an average of 33.42 and a strike rate of 150.96. He also hit the most sixes (10) and the second-most fours (25) in the tournament.
