FIFA 23 Release Date, Ratings, Games, Order & More – There are so many different release dates that come out with every new FIFA, you’ve got the beta, you’ve got the web app, you’ve got early access, Ultimate Edition, standard edition, just so much to keep track of so confusing. So I thought, let’s put it all in one article and make it easy on everybody. The first release date that we are expecting and we’ll get for sure is the beta, there’s not going to be a FIFA 23 demo, there will just be a beta this year.
The beta is a code that gets sent to your email and you get to unlock a certain aspect of FIFA 23. So in previous years, I’ve gotten a couple of the beta codes but you’re not guaranteed to get one some years I don’t get one some years I do. And normally when I get it, I normally get kick off an ultimate team one year I also got volta, but it’s normally what you’ve played the most of in the previous year’s cycle.
So if you’ve played a lot of career mode in FIFA 23 And you get a code it’s probably going to have kickoff and career mode as the two options to play and for the ultimate team, if you do end up getting the beta something to remember is that you will not get to keep the coins that you made in the ultimate team from the beta this is just a trial run for you get used to playing the game get to see the new menus.
It is an advantage but it’s nothing too crazy to get excited for and it’s not something I’ve normally really grind too much or maybe get a feel for the menu and see what’s new, but nothing too crazy, right? And for career mode. It’s basically like playing the last year’s FIFA because they never add anything to career mode. Isn’t that right guys? So that’s the first release date, and it’s going to be on August 11.
About FIFA 23
That’s the projected release date. And if you want to get a code, you will have to select that you wanted emails from EA at the beginning of the year. You might have noticed that when you log into a new FIFA, it says would you like to receive an email, emails from EA Sports FIFA, and that is how you actually end up getting a code. Now even if you did select that, please remember, that it’s not guaranteed that you do end up getting a code.
And it is pretty disappointing if you don’t end up getting one because then you’ve got to wait for all the way until the next release date to get a taste of FIFA 23. The next release date that we are expecting for FIFA 23. And this one is probably the shakiest of all of them. It’s the web app release date. The web app is always the first thing to come out for a new FIFA, you get on the web app, you get to see the market you get to trade players you get to open packs.
It’s like playing Ultimate Team, but without the gameplay. Now, obviously, at first, it’s pretty tough to make coins without gameplay right now that’s where I come in and try to help you guys with a web app Guide, which is something you guys should expect to drop on the channel to helps you get from zero to 50k to 100k. Before the full game is actually released before you play a single match of the game, you can already have a pretty solid squad with the coins you make from that guide. So expect that to come out soon.
FIFA 23 Release Date
But the web app is projected to drop currently on Wednesday, September 21, which is a full six days before the next release date. So you’re getting nearly a week of getting to play FIFA without actually getting to play FIFA, the web app is something you get to log on to the foot web app online, you can also get the companion app on your phone. But generally, it takes a little bit longer for you to get the companion app on the phone, it takes longer for EA to actually update that and release it.
Now a couple of things that you guys should take into consideration is that there are ways to get rewards in FIFA 23 through FIFA 22. That will be something that you’ll see over the next few weeks where it’s like okay, get this chemistry style if you play a certain amount of games in this game mode in FIFA 22 Or get a coin boost for FIFA 23.
Those things normally do not hit your account during the web app release. So you are strictly looking at the bare minimum cards, the welcome backpacks, and that is it. And then you’ve got to trade your way up, maybe do some squad-building challenges and whatnot. So that is what to expect with the web app. The next release date that you should expect for FIFA 23 is early access. Now early access in previous years, it’s always been 10 hours and it will be 10 hours in FIFA 23 as well.
But it normally dropped at a pretty similar time as the web normally a couple of hours after at most a day after the web app. So you might say you should expect that to drop on September 21 or 22nd. But that’s just not the case this year. If you take a look at what EA has been doing with EA Play and with all of the other games they’ve released in the past Last year, they’ve not been giving you those extra days beforehand, they’ve been dropping it with the ultimate edition release of the game, which means that if you’ve bought the Ultimate Edition for FIFA 23, there is absolutely zero zilch reason to buy EA Play with that as well.

Because those 10 hours are going to be nothing, they’re going to drop at the exact same time, you might ask, Well, why are EA planning on doing this to us? Why would anybody ever want to buy EA Play? And that’s a great point. But on the other hand, if you bought the standard edition, and you wanted to play a little bit before the Standard Edition is released, normally, you would just spend $5 and get those 10 hours. And then you could actually just refund those $5 later if you’re smart about it.
So why would EA want your $5 that they might not even keep when they could get $30 out of you playing the Ultimate Edition? So it’s basically an incentive to get people to spend money on the ultimate edition of FIFA 23. That’s the idea behind it. So when is that going to happen? It’s September 27. And you can do that at exactly midnight.
For that day. Now, if you do try to change your location, you could try to change it to New Zealand, because that is the first country on the game that actually gets released at midnight. But in previous years, it’s been shaky some years at work some years, it just doesn’t work. So if you want to do that, I would suggest making a new account now that way, it’s kind of set in stone and you’re not making a day off, I don’t know exactly how it’s going to work, I just know that it has in the past. So if you want to be prepared for it, make an account that’s from New Zealand.

And you might be able to get the game a little bit earlier in terms of like maybe you know, 16 hours before the West Coast of the United States, or maybe eight hours before you guys in Europe, roughly. So that is an idea. And that is maybe a way to get the game a little bit earlier. Now, something to consider with the web app that we didn’t talk about is the fact that they normally do a soft launch for the web app. So similar to how they release it by timezone in the game on your actual console. They kind of do the same thing with web apps, except it’s not necessarily your time zone.
It’s just your account and getting a little bit lucky. You’ll try to log in to the web app on the first day. And you’ll see people start tweeting out, I’m on the web app, I’m on the web app, and then you’ll try and it’ll just say, you know, server timed out or, you know, it’s not ready yet, blah, blah, blah, it’s because it’s only unlocking to a certain amount of counts at a time. That way, if everybody goes on to it at the same time, it doesn’t crash. And so that’s why EA will do it like that.
So hopefully you’ll get in early enough, you just continue to try try try that’ll improve your odds. But some people just end up getting unlucky. In fact, last year, it took me about a day to get into the web app for the first time, which sucked.
Conclusion
Now as an EA game changer, I was lucky enough to actually have the game on a hard copy and actually get to play it on my console before everybody else. So it didn’t affect me as much that it couldn’t get on the web app. But it was a little bit disappointing because when I wasn’t on my console, I wanted to be on my laptop or on my phone trying to, you know, try it a little bit. And I just couldn’t. And it took me quite a while to actually get into the web app.
So you got to get pretty lucky with getting into the web app right when it releases. But if you don’t just continue to try over and over and over again, eventually, you will end up getting in. So that’s when we’re expecting the web app the Ultimate Edition and early access to drop. And then you’ve got the standard edition which is set for September 30. On at midnight as well. So you get a full 72 hours beforehand if you get the ultimate edition. And of course, you get the other perks like those FIFA points or you know, a team of the week pack, et cetera.
