He then began working at a shoe shop. For the next seven years, he continued working inside the church. he followed working as a cleaner and watchman at the Kericho Church.
Later Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa began living far away from Kericho. While leaving somewhere else he found a job at the late gospel songbird Angela Chibalonza. He began working as a house boy for Angela Chibalonza. The singing career of Angela Chibalonza inspired Ilagosa a lot.
He decided to become one gospel singer in the country.
