Khatija made her singing debut in the year 2010 from the song Pudhiya Manidha from the movie Enthiran which was directed by Shankar. She shared her status as a singer also involved herself in different corporate jobs.
At first, after completing different internships under various popular programs Khatija joined a company called Bhumi in which she worked as a Management Trainee in the year 2016 where she manages different finance-related work of the company. Then she became the Project manager of YM Movies Private Ltd for 7 months in the year 2018.
