Natasha Narwal (born March 5, 1989) is an Indian Activist, feminist collective, and entrepreneur from Haryana, India. She is famously known as an activist of “Pinjra Tod”, which is a collective of women students. Being an active member of Pinjra Tod and an activist, Natasha always stands in the favor of women’s safety and rights.
According to the reports, Natasha Narwal was arrested by Delhi Police on 23 May 2020 for her participation in a premeditated conspiracy in the Northeast Delhi riots (held in February 2020). A case was filed against her under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Activist, Natasha Narwal was born to her parents on Thursday, March 5, 1989, in Haryana, India. She belongs to the Hinduism religion. According to her birth date, Natasha Narwal’s age is 32 years old (as of 2021).
She is a talented lady. After completing her primary education from a local private school in her hometown, Natasha moved to Delhi for her higher studies. She completed her graduation at Hindu College in Delhi.
As per the reports, she is a Ph.D. student from the Center for Historical Studies at JNU. During her college days, she joined the activist group for women’s safety and rights.

According to the media sources, Natasha Narwal belongs to the Haryanvi Jat caste. Talking about her family details then, she is the eldest child in the family. Her father “Mahavir Narwal” was a retired scientist from CCS Haryana Agricultural University.

Being a part of Pinjra Tod, Natasha Narwal and other members take part in small protests for women’s rights. According to the sources, In February 2020, Natasha Narwal and other activists of Pinjra Tod including Debangana Kalita took part in the Northeast Delhi riots.
After some time, she and Debangana were arrested by Delhi Police on 23 May 2020 for their alleged role in the ‘communal violence’. Apart from this, Police also registered an Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act or UAPA case against Natasha Narwal. After that, Narwhal has been lodged in Tihar Jail.

According to the reports, Natasha’s dad tested positive for COVID on 7th May. After that, he was admitted to a private hospital in Rohtak. After this, civil society and student collective Pinjra Tod’s members have demanded the release of Natasha, so that, she could take care of her father who was in ICU.
But unfortunately, her dad died due to COVID-19 on 9th May 2021. According to the latest reports, Natasha Narwal granted interim bail for three weeks by Delhi High Court on Monday, so she could perform her dad’s last rites.
