Sharing with the audience Natchathiram Nagargiradhu’s story then a lead character Rene catches the eye of every audience. She use to be a woman who loves to live life on her own terms. She speaks whatever she wants to, she eats and does whatever comes to her mind. She is a woman who usually gets hurt by a small insult due to her caste. But along it, she is a highly confident woman and shows the world that she is a strong and brave person.

The story moves to a local theatre group in Pondicherry who were deciding on a new play related to love and politicization. Rene use to be a part of this group and recently broke up with his boyfriend Iniyian (Kalidas Jayaram).

Another character Arjun is then introduced to the audience. He also became a part of a theatre group. Later he got attracted to Rene despite the fact that he is already engaged to a girl name Roshini.

Along with Rene, Arjun, and Iniyina, there are more lovers inside their group which also includes transgender, gay, lesbian, and married men who are following lover relationships with someone inside the group.

When the story moves further Rene and Iniyan appear as a couple who can’t forget each other after their breakup. Just like this story keeps on revolving around these characters and keep the audience in their seat with the question of, what will happen in the end?

Natchathiram Nagargiradhu has been stated by the audience as a truly outspoken film that has politics behind love. It story gives less impact on the actual life of the audience. Though the story of the movie is good director added very less romance to it. And many scenes, in the beginning, can be shot better.
