He gained fame after his participation as a contestant in the reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil (Season 3) in 2019, which was hosted by Kamal Haasan. He is also known for his work with Rajinikanth in the movie Kaala (2018) and for his dance reality shows on Vijay TV.

Career
Sandy started his career as a choreographer in the famous dance show Maanada Mayilada Season 1 telecasted on Kalaignar TV in 2005. The show was hosted by Kala Master, who is his guru and mentor. She allowed him to choreograph a team of dancers in the first season. He choreographed Sathish Krishnan and Jayashree throughout the season and ended up as the winners of the season. He was also seated on the panel of judges in various seasons of Maanada Mayilada.
After winning the show, he got several opportunities to choreograph in various other dance shows. He was hired by Vijay TV, which got him popularity and success, as he started choreographing and appearing on several shows on Vijay TV. He is one of the judges in Kings of Dance season 2. He also worked as a choreographer for the Telugu and Kannada language shows “Challenge Show” and “Kuniyona Bara”.
He started his choreography career in the Tamil film industry through the film Aaaah in 2014. Later he choreographed Viraivil Isai, Ivanuku Thannila Gandam, and Vaalu in 2015. Rise to Fame
He achieved his dream of working with Rajinikanth when he got to work with him in his movie Kaala in 2018. He is a huge fan of Rajinikanth and he even got him to sign his car. Sandy stated that it was the best experience of his life.
As an actor, Sandy made his debut in the movie Ivanuku Thannila Gandam, a Tamil comedy film featuring Deepak, Rajendran, Sendrayan, and Elango Kumaravel in 2015. He also appeared in movies like Julieum 4 Perum, 3:33, Let’s Get Married, Head Bush, and Leo.
