Not only this he is also stated as the owner of the anonymous, Whistle Blowing website called Savakku. This is the website where he posts blog posts written by him.

Back in 2008, Mr. Savukku Shankar got arrested for the first time when he leaked the conversation between the Director of DVAC Mr. S.K Upadhyay, and Mr. L.K Tripathi. Shankar was found guilty but later released on bail. Later he got arrested on the charges of road rage a second time when he started posting on his blog information about the corrupted government officers.
On July 22 2022 Shankar made a controversial statement during his interview with a Youtube channel Red Pix. He shared in his statement that the entire high judiciary is plagued by corruption.
After it controversy got raised and Shankar was forced to appear in The Madras High Court. When he appeared in the Madras High Court on 15th September 2022 He was found guilty of criminal contempt. He was then sent to six months in prison for a controversial statement about the higher judiciary of India. Justice B Pugalendhi and Justice G R Swaminathan stated that Savukku Shankar can not blame the entire judicial institution is corrupted. Savukku didn’t apologize for his statement in court.

Savukku Shankar’s career began in 1991 when he first joined a Lower Division Clerk in the directorate of vigilance and anti-corruption (DVAC). He then got fired from his job in the DVAC when was found guilty of leaking the transcript of a taped conversation between S. K. Upadhyay, then director of DVAC, and L. K. Tripathi.
