Story & Plot
In Spadikam A character Thomas Chacko played by Mohanlal used to be a gangster who has been running from his family for a long time. At the beginning of the story, Thomas’s family is introduced which displayed that he is not having good relations with his father who works as headmaster His brother Manimal Vakkachan usually supports him but no one else from his family.
The film also shows a little part of Thomas’s childhood which shows he was not good at maths. But he use to have a brilliant mind in mechanical and electronic gadgetry. He even develops an AM radio receiver in a small soap case.
But though he was a good student he ran away from his school due to some circumstances and never returned back. But after 14 years he visits back his hometown now he is a young Thomas Chacko. But still, he is not having good relations with his father. And then the story keeps on stepping further in which Thomas creates new enemies. His father tries to send him to jail too. He got involved in a relationship with prostitutes. When the story moves forwards Thomas meets his childhood love, Thulasi. But his father humiliates him in front of Thulasi making a father-son relationship sourer.
Belatedly Thomas got involved in a fight with a goon who stabbed him. Thomas was then hospitalized. Thomas’s father then visits him to meet him in the hospital. Inside the hospital, father and son developed good relationships. His father regrets that due to his strictness, Thomas became a goon. When Thomas came out of the hospital he take revenge on his enemy who stabbed him earlier.
While taking revenge he came to know that Thulasi loves him deeply. And at the end Spadikam movie story Thomas all enemy stands against him. While the fight Thomas’s father got a gunshot which raises Thomas’s aggression. Thomas attacks all the enemies. But police took Thomas into their custody ending the story.
