According to some reports, CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s principal secretary, M Sivasankar was also suspended after it was confirmed that he had links with Swapna Suresh. The other suspects in the 2020 Kerala gold smuggling case are Sarith Kumar, Fazil Farid, Sandeep Nair, M.Sivasankar, and Rashed Khamis Ali Musaiqri Alshemeli. They were charged in the case of gold smuggling.
