This film is the third collaboration between actor Ajith Kumar and producer Boney Kapoor. Previously Boney Kapoor collaborated with Ajith Kumar in Nerkonda Paarvai (2019), Valimai (2022), and now AK61.
All the earlier films of Ajith Kumar with Boney Kapoor have been directed by H.Vinoth. Earlier in April director, H.Vinoth shared with his followers his picture standing with Boney Kapoor holding a clapboard on which Ak61 one was written. He captions this picture “Padum Pesum! Story
Sharing the story based on the trailer released on 5th December 2022 then Ajith Kumar is playing a role of a Robber in Thegimpu. He previously use to be an army man. But some facts impacts his life and in frustration, he became a robber. He then plans the biggest bank robbery. And thus the story moves forward showing how Ajith’s character executes his plans to do the biggest robbery in the country. Till the end, the film Thunivu shows the story of the robber and the police fetching him. For entertainment, many action scenes loaded with machine guns and grenades have been added to the movie.
