Todd Hodne Arrest, Jail (Rape Conviction & Parole)
After coming back home on bail under the case of sexually assaulting two Penn State coeds Todd didn’t change his mind. He kept on doing wrong deeds and then again got arrested in May 1979. He was then arrested on four charges including first-degree rape and three more.
After his arrest in May, he was presented in the court in September 1979 where he submitted a plea agreement. He entered a plea agreement for his two rape counts, two sexual abuse counts, and one of robbery. At that time judge sentenced Todd Hodne to 7 years and a maximum of 21 years Imprisonment.
After 7 years of imprisonment, Hodne got Payroll in 1986. His payroll was objected to by Nassau County Prosecutor but his objection was rejected after the parole board of Easter New York Correctional Facility voted unanimously.
After getting Payroll he went back to Wantagh where he worked with his family and started getting therapies. He somehow controlled his habits for a few months but again lost control and started taking drugs like cocaine. He disrespected all the terms of his payroll and also stopped going to his therapy sessions.

When he was living his life after getting payroll in 1986 he didn’t control his predator behavior and made a different mess. But the final mess was made by him on August 11, 1987, when Hodne hired a taxi to pick him up from a White Castel restaurant situated in Huntington, New York.
The driver who picked him up was Mr. Jeffrey Hirsch. Jeffery was a married man and a father of 4 kids. He drove Todd Hodne from Huntington to a side street near the Wall Whitman Mall and dropped him there.
When he stopped the car and dropped Todd off, Mr. Todd showed a knife to him and tried to rob Mr. Jeffrey Hirsch. Jeffrey attempted to defend himself and fought with Todd. But Todd dominated Jeffrey Hirsch in the fight and stabbed him. In this fight, Todd broke the hyoid bone of Jeffrey Hirsch’s neck and left him to die on the road.
After the incident, the locals call the police and the police went on to search for Todd. Later he got caught by the K9 Unit. Todd then shared with investigating officers that he and Jeffrey Hirsch were going to buy drugs.
Later Hirsch died in the hospital after doctors declared him brain dead. Jeffrey Hirsch remained in the hospital over the life support system for six days.
After Jeffrey Hirsch’s death, Todd was sent to jail on the count of murder. He was sentenced to jail for 25 years of life imprisonment.
