Umo Eno (born 10 May 1964, age: 58 years) is a Pastor, Politician, and Governor-Elect of Akwa Ibom State. He has been titled as the visionary Christian leader and an entrepreneur par excellence. Umo is also honored for being a Governor / Chief Executive Officer of Royalty Group.
His high-level positions made him popular in entire Nigeria. Umo is known to his high fan following for being a founder of the All National Christian ministry. In 2023 Umo who represented PDP political party won the Akwa Ibom Governorship.

Pastor Umo Eno who was one of the most promising candidates representing the People Democratic Party (PDP) has won the Governorship Election in Akwa Born State. He has won 29 local government areas. His official winning announcement was made on 19th march 2023 by Emmanuel Adagio, a professor and Returning Officer for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
By winning 29 out of 31 local government areas Umo has created a history in the state. He grabbed 354,348 votes and defeated his top challenger Bassey Albert of the Young Progressives Party (YPP).
Bassey Albert won only 2 local government areas by grabbing 136262 votes only.

Umo Eno has shared that he was born as the eldest of six siblings. He began earning money for his family at a very young because of his father’s early death. His father worked as a Police Officer. My father was the kind of man that when he sits down, will rub his hands on the table, to see if it was dusty. If it was, you will be in trouble. My father will put his radio (radio Nigeria) on to listen to the 4 O’clock news because he will come back home by 3 pm and he knew where he left the setting of that radio. So, if anyone tampered with it, he usually finds out. He will call me, ‘Umo, who touched the radio?’ And you dared not lie to him, because he knew what had happened. That was the kind of father I had.

I am happy that later, she came to live with us and enjoyed her older years. She was able to live peacefully with my wife in the same house until she passed. She was my prayer warrior.
