Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif Leaked Audio Goes Viral: Talks about Maryam Nawaz’s Son-in-law

The leaked audio tape allegedly featuring Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is doing the rounds on social media. The tape contains a discussion about Maryam Nawaz, the Vice President of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and the daughter of the former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The short audio clip contains a discussion regarding Maryam Nawaz for a power plant from India for her son-in-law. The top government officials can be heard briefing Shahbaz Sharif in the audio he allegedly warned Sharif about the consequences of his actions for facilitating his relative.
This incident of audio tape leak has also highlighted the loopholes in the security system revolving around the Pakistani Prime Minister in his office. As it points fingers that an audio clip between two government officials, including the prime minister, could be leaked in the first place.
And this latest revelation offered a great opportunity for the country’s ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan to dive the incumbent Shahbaz Sharif, and his exotic brother Nawaz Sharif. In a press conference, the PTR chief accused Nawaz the former Prime Minister of Pakistan making 60 million dollars through sugar trade with India during the 1990s.

Imran Khan also verbally attacked the influential Sharif family. He said that they have been expanding that family business both in China and also in India on behalf of the Pakistani government.
Imran Khan has further questioned Nawaz Sharif’s family’s source of wealth, saying that they have made over $1.7 billion through illegal means after coming to power. Nawaz Sharif’s spokesperson has also rejected Imran Khan’s allegations and has threatened to take him to court for legal action.
